PC Tweaks, Twiddles, Security, Software Part 4.

I was going to continue with some more tweaks and stuff that I have tried out but now I won't. If anyone has got a query then leave a comment or send me a mail.

I think I'll just summarize instead.

Take security and maintenance of your computer seriously. If you don't then you will pay the price. Simple as that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Bit About Me

I'm an Australian male married to a Brazilian. We spend our leisure time shared between the 2 countries. When I'm working it can be almost anywhere that has timber industry.

I spend a bit of time on the net so, as a matter of logical choice, I use Firefox as my browser and Thunderbird as my e-mail client. Please do yourselves a favour and try them out. The prime reasons I use these are:

1. Security.

2. Functionality

Something else that is worth a big mention is Skype. To call PC to PC using voice is free and much better quality than traditional telephone to telephone. Use SkypeOut (a pay-up-front subscription) and save packets on local, long distance and international phone calls to fixed and mobile telephones. Also help your friends and family save on calls to you when you are abroad.
